The Racing Beat kit includes two CNC-machined aluminum blocks, mounting hardware and instructions. For 1990-95 Miata's equipped with power steering we've provided a channelled brace block to allow clearance for the chassis-mounted power steering line.
Refer to the video links to the right. While watching the TOP video you'll notice during the autocross run that the stock mounting bracket flexes and bends during cornering and compression. This repeated flexing and bending will eventually fatigue the stock mount and may cause the mount to crack and fail. After the installation of the reinforcement kit, as seen in the BOTTOM video, noticeable flex and movement has been effectively minimized.
