Racing Beat Sway Bar End Link Set for all 2006-2015 MX-5 and 2004-2011 RX-8 FRONT sway bar applications.

For decades our Racing Beat End Link sets have set the standard for use on select Mazda applications. While early Miata and RX-7 applications allowed us to use a simple through-bolt style end link housings, later applications required the use a heim-joint or ball-joint style housing to allow for a great range of motion. While "heim-joint" links can range from inexpensive, mass produced versions up to expensive race/aircraft quality components, they both offer excellent steering feedback but they can also be rather harsh, unforgiving, and can be prone to fatigue related failure.

Another alternative is a "ball-joint" style link that features a stud/ball joint pressed into a stamped metal housing. These style units more commonly replicate the stock OE versions that come equipped on your Mazda vehicle and provide a more forgiving feel. Import aftermarket versions of these these are widely available today and offer the convenience of being inexpensive, easily modified, and readily available. However, we've experimented with these versions in the past with mixed results - there's just no getting around the fact that these are intended as OE replacements and not race components, and frankly, they just look rather cheap.

Racing Beat Design
At Racing Beat we've taken the design of the ball joint style link and taken it to the next level by producing an end link set that provides an excellent balance of handling feedback, comfort, performance, durability and appearance.

Our unique end link housing is like none other on the market today. Designed by Racing Beat founder Jim Mederer, our end link housings are now shaped using a strong forged-alumimun production process and then CNC-machined to it's unique finished shape. An upgraded 10MM ball-joint unit is pressed into place and further protected by a durable rubber cover. Racing Beat custom orders our own range of end link studs, each designed specially for it's intended vehicle application. Easily assembled and adjusted, our Racing Beat end links have been street and track tested for decades with excellent results.

A quick side-by-side comparison with a Racing Beat link and another aftermarket link will quickly reveal the sleek design of the Racing Beat end link as compared with the competing unit. The average weight of a Racing Beat link is approximately a mere 8 ounces - no bulky, extra-weight hex adjustment sleeve is needed on our design.

Vehicle Specific Application
These sway bar end links are direct replacements for the stock Mazda end links. The Racing Beat sway bar end link set is easily adjustable and can be used on both standard height and lowered vehicles. Can be installed and adjusted using only simple hand tools.

Adjustment Range
117mm - 107mm (10mm range = approx .375")

On-chassis Length Adjustments
On occasion we'll receive a question asking why Racing Beat links are not adjustable without removing one of the link ends. Feedback that we've received over the years and supported by the 1000's of end link sets that we sold over the past 30 years, supports our thinking that this just isn't a critical consideration for the vast number of Miata owners.  However, making length adjustments with the Racing Beat end links is simple and secure, just loosen the jam nuts, remove one retaining bolt, rotate the link housing, and bolt everything back together. Simple.

Race Tuning
This end link set uses a 75mm stud - if a different length stud is required for your custom application we offer the following options:
Stud lengths - 55mm, 60mm, 70mm, 75mm, 85mm - contact us for ordering information.

This end link set comes complete with securing hardware and mounting instructions. Sold as a FRONT pair.
