These Maruha Motors Solid Lifters are the exact same as supplied by Mazdaspeed Motorsport Development - A great upgrade!
This set up is required for installation of 'Maruha Motors Camshafts' for all MX5 NA/NB 1.6L/1.8L 1989-2004.
They can be used as upgrade replacement for NB owners with stock cams (the Shim over bucket design is a good design but on high powered track cars the shim can 'spit out' which is not at all ideal)
They are not suitable for use with NA stock camshafts
You can purchase the Solid Lifter set (16pc) on its own or with a combination of shims (As tolerance will be different you will need to check and measure to calculate the shim thickness you require)
To keep the cost down you can purchase a set of 8 base shims in conjunction with the solid lifters (which will be supplied 1mm thick) so you can check each cam for the required thickness, you can then reorder the additional shims to be sent to you.
Please note: If shims are not in stock and need to be made in your required thickness it will generally take 2-3 days
Should you wish to just purchase a complete set of 16 lifters + 16 shims you can also do this (Please specify what size shims you would like in your order comments at checkout)
