The stainless steel shield is a direct fit for the stock NB8B/C 1.8 manifold.

Please make sure, the upper middle fixing point is present, as the heat shield screws to it and the rear vertical ones. If you have OEM heat shield it is most probably there, if it is removed, you should see a bracket, which connects to the manifold fixing points.
