Carbotech XP8 is the first of the Carbotech racing compounds. XP8 is a high torque brake compound with a wide operating temperature range, good initial bite at race temperatures, high coefficient of friction, and excellent modulation and release characteristics.
High fade resistance and very rotor friendly, the XP8 is excellent as a front brake pad for lighter applications (vehicles weighing around 2,400lbs or less) such as the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers. XP8 is good for track day use with any tyre and can still be driven safely to and from the track.
Operating range is 93C to 732C
