The Mazda MX-5 is one of the world’s most popular roadsters of all time, and one of the most raced production cars in the world. Many track enthusiasts select a Mazda MX-5 as their weapon of choice because of its on track abilities, easiness to modify, and its long lasting affordability.
The new 4th generation Mazda MX-5 ND Series was one of the most highly anticipated models in it’s class. It shares the Fiat Abarth 124 Spider's chassis which gives the ND a more sleek and sophisticated design, yet it still has that true motoring edge with a lighter body and enhanced performance (weight distribution 53/47 % front/rear).

CSF’s triple-pass technology allows the coolant to flow through the radiator core 3x rather than just flowing across the surface of the core once. This allows much colder ambient air to exchange heat with the coolant for a 3x longer period of time generating the lowest outlet temperature possible. Still with a drop-in fit! This radiator is future proof and will be needed when increasing power with supercharger and turbo kits that are scheduled to release this race season.

“B-Tube” technology – Unlike a regular oval shape “O” type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in a shape of a “B”. These “B-tubes” are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal “O” shape tubes that are welded.
The design (inlet in the middle of tube that is seam brazed) increases the heat transfer surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% over regular tubes. You get the efficiency of 2 smaller tubes vs. 1 large tube within the same space criteria. With “B-tubes” you are able to get “dual liquid laminar flow.”
High Efficiency Multi Louvered Fin – CSF uses ultra efficient multi louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through each radiator core. Fin specifications are carefully measured and calculated for each application, and tested for maximum heat rejection efficiency in our wind-tunnel lab.
